My cousin was over at my house today and saw this pouch that I had made for my glasses. She fell in love and kindly requested one for her sunglasses. I had been wanting to try to make something like this scrappy pouch that I saw on One Shabby Chick. I love her blog, it's one of my faves for sure. She makes beautiful quilts and has such pretty pictures. So anyway, I made one with a combination of mine and hers and I am so happy with the results (so was my cousin)!
I quilted the outside with straight lines. The lining has a little crease in this picture from when I ironed it but I just need to iron it right out.
Great stash buster project and super easy to make. Have a great night!
What a cute pouch! Love the fabric and I can see how lovely your workmanship is! Very nice :)

ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! Love the idea of a quilted pouch for glasses, I brought a pair of sunglasses the other the flimsy bag they give you offers no protection at all, this would be perfect!
