I finished another project off my to-do list. This pillow was something I've been wanting to make ever since I saw this tutorial at Fussy Cut (another one of my favorite blogs!).
Like Angela, I cut up a curtain for the backing. On my last trip to Target, I had seen this single curtain panel on their clearance section for $7. It didn't have a set and it wasn't packaged. So I bought it just for this. I have a ton of it left over. This envelope enclosure is the easiest thing ever! I loved it.
It looks super cute on my glider. I can't wait to make some more pillows for the rest of my house.
My hubby has the entire week off so I've got some big plans for a living room make over. I'm sure we won't get it all done this week, what with Mother's Day and my little brother's birthday right around the corner, but hopefully, we'll get SOME stuff checked off the list. Have a great Monday!
this is soo adorable!

Love it! Did the pieces of fabric have a significant meaning?
ReplyDeleteOh it turned out great Bonnie! I love all the bright colors! I can't belive the fabric on the back in a curtain! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! Pillows and curtains are the only two things that I can actually make, though this pillow looks infinitely better than anything I've done.
