Today is a really special day! Seven years ago, I married the love of my life. I'm convinced that I'm the luckiest girl in the world. He is the most loving and supportive husband and he still takes my breath away with his sweet words and romantic gestures. I won't bore you with pictures of us like I did last year but I did want to share a few pictures from our little trip to Sea World last weekend.

I had to include that last picture of AJ in complete awe. I think I was mostly watching his reaction instead of the shows. I love seeing the world through his eyes!

Oh and I couldn't sign off without bragging a little bit. It's my anniversary after all! Honey did good. He knows I love my purses!

Life As A Princess

I hope all you beautiful mommies had a great Mother's Day yesterday! You deserve it!!

I had an amazing day with my loved ones. My hubby never ceases to amaze me with his romantics and his thoughtfulness. He always treats me like a princess! I woke up to these!





He cooked a DELICIOUS brisket for me and my sister and mom. He did everything, all I did was sit there and eat... and eat and eat and eat. Afterwards, AJ took a nice long nap while we watched a movie and just enjoyed eachother's company. My favorite part of the day was when AJ took the flowers that my brother had given to my mom away from her and told her "Flowers for mommy". He ran over and gave them to me and said "Here you go mommy!" Aww, my little monkey! Such a little sweetheart, just like his daddy!

My gift is arriving in the mail this week. Know what it is?? FABRIC!! Eeeep!!! I'm actually going to attempt to make my first quilt. I'm nervous but equally excited!

Well I'm off to my momma's house. It's my brother's birthday today. I can't believe he's 17 already!! They (I have two younger brothers but I'm also throwing AJ in this category) need to stop growing up already. Have a great evening everyone!! XOXO

Here's To Six Happy Years!

Six years ago today, I married my best friend, my soul mate, the wonderful man God chose just for me. I am so so so blessed and lucky to have him in my life. He is really the best husband and the most amazing daddy. I still remember my wedding day as if it were yesterday...



In honor of my anniversary, I will now proceed to bore you with a bazillion pictures of our life together throughout the last eight years! (No particular order)







































You think these are a lot? Trust me, they don't even make a dent in my collection. I had to hold back A LOT!

*sigh* I can't believe how in love I still am with this guy after so long. Even when I think I can't love him any more, he does little things that just melt my heart and make me fall for him all over again. Yeah, we've had our tough times. Who hasn't? But having God in the center of our marriage along with an open heart, a willingness to forgive, and a sense of passion and romance really makes it wonderful and as close to perfect as I would want. I have sooo many stories I could share with you guys about our life experiences together but I think that's enough boredom for today!
