  1. I'm definitely a reading addict. I've read so many books I can't pick a favorite. I'm currently reading "The Accidental Mother" by Rowan Coleman. It's great so far!

  6. Eeep! What a great little giveaway! I don't know what kind of books you like but I read all kinds so I'll just list some that were good. Sarah's Key was good. Some authors I like are Brian Freeman, Nevada Barr, and Kathy Reichs. Stuart Woods' books are good but kind of all the same. I read a good one about a girl who runs away from home and works for a man who makes fireworks but I can't remember the name, that one was good. Lately, I've been reading a lot of the freebies on the Nook.

  17. I recently read "The Night Circus" before 50 Shades... It was so magical and lovely to imagine. It has love!!! As I've told you before, I don't have a "favorite book" because I love them all. But one series that really saved me from my sanity was Twilight. My Grandpa had just died from a sudden blood clot to his heart after surgery. And I was in love with it from the start. It was such a difficult time for me so I buried myself in books and it helped my mind to be occupied while life went on. So I choose Twilight as the book I would mention because of how it helped me. Miss you Grandpa! Oh and read the Gretchen Lowell series from Chelsea Cain!!! I love them!!!-Melissa Mtz mmtz1983@yahoo.com

  45. Happy b-day!

My favorite book ever is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. It is a classic, but an excellent book.

I just finished The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom. I give it a so-so. If you like period novels not about England (this is set during slavery in the US) and romance/mix-ups then you might like it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. My favorite book this year is The Fault in our Stars by John Green.

    ReplyDelete
  47. My favorite book is The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. I also really love Matilda by Rouald Dahl. An avid reader, I will read just about anything. If I had to suggest a book to read I would suggest ANY of Jen Lancaster's books ('Bitter is the New Black', 'Bright Lights, Big Ass', 'Pretty in Plaid', 'My Fair Lazy', etc.) because they're hysterical and really good reads. Currently, I'm reading the Game of Thrones books (book 4, holla!) and loving them. Ahh! I could spend forever talking about books. :) OOOH! An idea for another swap! Books and totes!

  57. I am currently reading a book called "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness. Now, this isn't your Twilight or Sookie Stackhouse story - the main character is a witch who doesn't know just how powerful she is until she meets a certain vampire. The second book in the series is coming out at the end of the summer. A good summer read.
