  49. Hi! I actually don't have a favorite Christmas scent because I have almost zero sense of smell. Weird, right? But my mom's favorite Christmas smell is that of a Christmas tree. We always got a fresh cut tree growing up and I'm told it smelled wonderful!

The smell of the fresh made christmas "filhós" sprinkled with cinnamom and sugar - don't know the english translation for this kind of sweet/cake, but it is a dough, my grandmother makes it with pumpkin, that is fried in small pancakes ou ball shapes, and very typical in Christmas time in Portugal.

  82. I don't even remember the name of it, but my mom gave me this perfume for Christmas when I was about 12. The jewelry box it sat next to still smells like it and to this day, every time I open it and smell that perfume it reminds me of Christmas.

  116. When I was a kid, around every Christmas, my aunts and uncle that lived close to my dad and I would come over and help my dad prepare Tamales. Everyone would man a station and we'd visit, tell stories and have fun... so many good memories. So the smell of cooking Tamales reminds me of Christmas!

  136. I have a couple! My favorite would be fresh baked sugar cookies and buttercream frosting:) but we also have this White Christmas candle that I love. It is a very light smell but it captures all the traditional Christmas scents-a little cinnamon, sugar, etc.

  148. For me it's the smell of pine trees! We always had a "real" tree growing up, and in high school I worked at a garden center so I spent the whole Christmas season making wreaths from tree cuttings and helping families find the perfect tree!
