Five Feature Friday- #4

I was blown away by all the amazing creations I saw online this week. Let's jump right to the features.

I am loving the reverse applique on this beautiful pillow that I found at Maureen Cracknell Handmade. Look at all the hand-stitched goodness!

These kidlets are so fun and bright! Fussy Cut made them as gifts and they're going on my list of things to make for CHRISTMAS!! You can find the free tutorial here.

Look at these gorgeous His and Hers nightstands from Sugar Tot Designs. There's a simple elegance to them that makes them simply perfect.

We can never have enough books! Frugal with a Flourish shared this amazing wall of books that she put in her Lil Man's nursery. What a great way to get your child into reading!

And angelahuse offers this unique take on an iPad case. Purse/clutch frames are my latest obsession. I must learn how to make these!

Five Feature Friday- #3

Welcome to week 3 of Five Feature Friday! Well, technically it's week 4 but I missed last week cause I was out of town. But that's ok! I found lots of amazing things in Cyber World this week that will knock your socks off!

First of all, I'm trying out this whole weekly menu planning system and I stumbled upon a site that is making this A TON easier for me! Recipe Shoebox even has a visual index full of categories that makes searching her hundreds of recipes that much easier. Check out her Chicken Pasta Salad.

My bloggy bud, Katie from Craptastic, upcycled this retro desk with a fun splash of green color! Doesn't it make you want to paint all your furniture??

I love turquoise, I love pennant banners, I love bikes! The 36th Avenue combined all these elements in these beautifully vibrant pillows. They are perfect for summer!

Blue Elephant Stitches introduced me to a modern look for quilts using a traditional square pattern. This is my inspiration for the Hope Valley quilt I want to make for my bed!

And look at this 4th of July wreath from The Country Chic Cottage. I love the rugged look with all the rustic elements she used. Burlap and raw fabric edges look great together!

Five Feature Friday- #2

There were so many wonderful projects this past week that it was really hard for me to narrow it down to just five. In case you're just joining my blog, I am starting a mini series called Five Feature Friday where I will feature my top five favorite crafts, recipes, ideas, projects, re-do's, upcycles, inspirational anything that I find in Blogland. Let's get started!

Little Lucy Lu showed us how to turn a single pallet into two great bookshelves for a child's room. This is so going on my to do list for AJ's playroom. I have a pallet sitting in my backyard waiting to be made into something beautiful!

I love this fun green table that Sisters of the Wild West made this week. The black and white stripes on top make it look so chic.

Grey Luster Girl showed us how to turn a large men's polo into a super cute bow shirt! And she's totally adorable too!

I've mentioned many times that I need to re-do my living room. I think I'm going to copy Embracing Change with these DIY Board and Batten walls! They add so much brightness to a room.

She had me at pink! So I saw this tutorial transformed a simple white lampshade into a beautiful one of a kind piece by adding hot pink rosettes. A subtle pop of color can go a long way!

Five Feature Friday- #1

I'm going to start holding a new little series on my blog called Five Feature Friday where I'll be posting my top five favorite crafts, recipes, ideas, projects, inspirational anything of the week! I've been coming across so many great blogs and ideas lately that it would be a crime if I didn't share them with you guys. So here are my choices for this past week.

As soon as I saw this Craft Hutch, I knew I was in love. The ladies at Lolly Jane taught us how they made it this week (AND they won the American Crafters competition with it!). Congrats girlies!!

Looking for a little bit of an ego boost?? The Speckled Dog shows you how to see if you have been pinned on Pinterest! It's so simple!!

Ok, so I might be a little biased on this one. But how delicious does this Almond Meringue Cake with Apricots look?? I was the lucky recipe taster/recipient of this lovely cake and vivre shows you how to make it on her blog!

I was totally inspired by this Hope Valley quilt top that Fussy Cut completed this week- along with all her other quilts! I can't wait to see the finished product. I also want to get my hands on some Hope Valley fabric (although it's probably reeeeally expensive by now).

And ofcourse, I have to include a bag in here somewhere! Noodlehead gave us this awesome tutorial on how you can make this super fun Summer Madras Tote! She has tons more great tutorials on her blog too.

Don't forget to grab a button if you were featured!! Thanks for all the inspiration you bring us through your awesome blogs!

The code is on my left sidebar. I still haven't figured out how to insert the code form on the body of my post without it being the entire width of the body (does that make sense??). If anybody knows how to do this, please let me know! Thanks!!

By the way, notice my new buttons?? The fabulous Laura from Live.Laugh.Photograph. did it again! She's the sweetest! Thanks Laura!!!
